We've been invaded!

Once the weather started warming up we noticed a strange increase in bee activity around the northwest corner of our house. Since my boss is a bee-keeper, I offered for him to come and take this obviously thriving hive back to his place. He showed up in his bee-keeper suit, smoker, hive boxes, etc. and cleaned them out--very fascinating process, I might add. The morning after my boss came and took the hive Corbin told Zack that "there was a tiny bee in my room, but I laid still so he wouldn't sting me." Luckily all the bees are gone, and according to my boss, his newest hive is doing very well.
Nothing is better than fresh honey straight from the hive (after you get past the chunky, waxy honeycomb).
Remnants of the hive. My boss said he's never seen a wild hive as big as the one that was hanging out in our house.

About Me

To make a long fairy-tale story short: We met while teenagers, both ended up attending college at BYU, we dated "seriously" (or not...) and were married in 2000. We now have the three cutest little boys in the world, well, 4 counting the dog.
