Whatever happened to August?

Here are a few pics to capture our month: Here, Kyler and Kumen were sharing a snack of who-knows-what under the trampoline one day and thought I'd sneak a photo.
Lazy days of summer spent pool-side...

We hit up a free-style motocross event which Corbin is STILL obsessed about. Unfortunately this was the only photo that came out that night. Corbin sat spell-bound the entire night as the riders cleared a 72' gap while doing various aerial stunts. As we were loading the boys into the car that night, Corbin said rather matter-of-fact-ly that, "You and dad are buying me a dirtbike and I'm going to do flips on it." Well, well, well little man let me tell you... the dirtbike issue has already been solved, but if I EVER find him doing flips on it... that will be the last day he ever rides one! So help me! :)

We went to the Clare county fair so the kids could get their animal fixes. Kyler loved these little pygmy goats (his mom did too... someday I'd like to have a few of my own:)
Nothing says 'Midwest-small-town' than a huge (not) John Deere tractor. Corbin LOVES John Deere tractors, but since they didn't have any, this Case had to do.
The sheep moved too fast in this photo, but Corbin just got through feeding it and kept begging to do it again.
Kyler just crusin' around the sheep pens (I know, I know--not very sanitary but what are you gonna do?)
We made a few trips to the local water hole, "Hair beach" as Corbin calls it (Herrick Park beach). Corbin donned his own goggles for the first time during this trip and it cracked me up!

About Me

To make a long fairy-tale story short: We met while teenagers, both ended up attending college at BYU, we dated "seriously" (or not...) and were married in 2000. We now have the three cutest little boys in the world, well, 4 counting the dog.
