This year a very special visitor came to our house on Dec 1st. This is one of Santa's little messenger elves and our boys named their elf Ned. During the day Ned would sit and quietly listen and watch what was going on in the Loucks household and each night he would fly back to Santa and let him know if the boys were "good" or "bad." Every morning Ned would be perched in a different spot in the house... some obvious... and some not so obvious:). I think the excitement of being the "first one to find Ned" in the morning became an Olympic sport in my house. I think a few mornings Kyler and Corbin were up running around looking for Ned before 5:30! Albeit, it was great leverage for keeping the boys some-what "normal" during the Holiday buzz... I think next year I'm going to write a letter to Santa BEGGING him not to send Ned until the week before Christmas!
