Man-Alive! Look Who's 5!

I think I'm still in denial trying to accept the fact that my #1 baby is now 5! Where did the time go! He has been so excited anticipating the arrival of this special day. He had a count down for the past 3 weeks, I mean 3 months!:) He sure is a great big brother and loves to help around the house. Here are some quick facts about Corbin:

• He is anxiously awaiting the start of Kindergarten this fall and is proud of the fact that he's had "all 5 of his shots for school"
  
• He loves to play with his brother (Nerf guns, superheroes, Wii, Legos, Transformers, motorcycles and matchbox cars)
• He loves to play guessing games
  
• He is very good at sharing with his brother and friends and is sensitive to others feelings
• He loves to stay busy with playing in the snow, reading books, coloring and practicing his penmanship
  
• His favorite food is cheeseburgers and ice cream
• He only out-weighs his little brother by 4 pounds
• He asks me nearly every day when summer's going to be here (we ALL have mega cabin-fever!)
• And he melts my heart every time he looks at me with those beautiful brown eyes!
  

We like to "surprise" the kids with a special birthday sign on their door when they wake up in the morning. This year we hid Corbin's gifts all over the house and he had to hunt for them all. Luckily he had his little brother to help him find them all! Corbin was great about sharing... he even let Kyler open a few of his presents for him.
