Counting giraffes in the Denver zoo with the Loucks clan.
Water balloon fights with the cousins and uncle Jeff. The boys really wanted to "climb a mountain" while we were in Colorado. Pretty impressive in just crocs and flip flops, if you ask me.
Picnicing with the cousins in Big Thompson canyon.
Watching fireworks for the 4th on Windsor lake. What a fun night! The weather cooperated until the very end... it started raining as we were heading to the cars after the show.
After our Colorado stint, we flew to Utah to spend time with family and meet my new niece (which I unfortunately, failed miserably to photograph--sorry Stella Bella!)
Went fishing with Uncle Andrew and this is about all we caught.Kayaking with Aunt Missy.
Fishing with Uncle Andrew. Corbin was a natural but lost interest quickly. Thank goodness Aunt Missy brought along the kayaks!
Petting the sting rays at the aquarium in SLC with the family.
We love to see the Temple!
We headed over to West Branch to watch the Ogemaw Hills Supermoto.
MSU Extension had "Breakfast on the Farm" at a local dairy. Totally Cool! The whole point was to show the kids how and where their food comes from. There was a homemade breakfast complete with real maple syrup, pancakes and fresh sausage...
Huge tractors and farming implements for the kids to explore...
And a real-live calving while I was standing right there! Unfortunately the kids were off exploring the dairy barn with Zack while this momma had her calf.
Corbin and Kyler are getting into the RC planes and helicopters. We had many trips to the church's gym so they could practice their flying skills. The local municipal airport has an RC plane club where a group of "good ol' boys" get together and fly their planes one evening a week. We like to go and watch them show off and play around with their different planes.
Corbin learned how to ride his bike without training wheels this summer! Here we are on a 10 miler on a chilly, windy Saturday morning.
Kyler "loves" to have his picture taken! Nearly all of my photos of this kid this summer has a face just like this one!
