Corbin seems to be aging faster than we can keep up with him! I am always so surprised when my babies' birthdays creep up on me. I wish I could bottle them up and keep them little forever! (well, maybe on most days... on the other days... I probably wish the exact opposite:). This year Corbin opted for a family trip up to Great Wolf Lodge rather than have a friend-birthday. It's a great place and we maximized every minute we were there that weekend. Grandma Waite even flew in for the festivities and joined us crazies for the birthday bash.
Thank goodness for this 85 degree oasis in the middle of February in Michigan. It was nice sitting in the hot tub and watching the icicles and snowdrifts getting larger outside.
We do not profess to be any type of birthday cake connoisseurs, but Corbin is REALLY into anything army. We quickly whipped up this cake after the fun weekend in Traverse City and Corbin thought it was the greatest thing! (Note the peanut M&M theme we have going on with his cakes. I think the last 3 have had them). We sure love you Corbin and are so proud of the little man you are turning into.
