Almost Paradise

We thought we would share our little slice of heaven with the kids this summer. Zack and I first found this gorgeous place (Paradise, MI) the summer after we moved to Michigan and hadn't been back since--sadly enough. We knew we would be moving in the upcoming Fall to Colorado so we took advantage of a long weekend and headed up to the U.P.

We stayed in a little cabin on lake Superior and had a ton of fun. The weather was gorgeous, the scenery even more so and the kiddos all loved it... even the dog.

Kumen couldn't get enough! The boys and he would stay out in the sand and water ALL day and ALL night if we would've let them.

At Whitefish Point lighthouse and shipwreck museum.

When Corbin was little he used to say "lotion winer" for ocean liner. Had to throw this picture in just for him:) Kyler would NOT look at the camera for anything that day (as evidenced by the tongue picture above) so that's him in the background of the photo.

Tahquamenon Falls. These photos don't do it justice. If you're ever near Paradise, MI you must stop by these amazing waterfalls. P.S. There's a nice hike between the upper and lower falls.
