Where did October go?

We had a super busy, super fun October! Here are a few of the highlights:

Halloween was, of course, a huge hit around our house. The boys are still wearing their costumes day and night and if you're ever in the mid-MI area you may catch a glimpse of our masked Spiderman out and about while we're running errands. He would sleep in that costume if we'd let him:).
The warmer-than-usual weather has been enjoyed to the max with: mud fights, puddle jumping, bike riding, pig roast and bonfire-going, deer hunting (yes, I slayed my first deer this year) and leaf pile-jumping.
"In Colorado" Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for a too-short "long weekend." We loved every second of their visit! We visited a museum train exhibit, a cider mill, and the local Best Western indoor pool--which the boys are still raving about!
We did lots of pumpkin pickin.' On one of our pumpkin patch visits Corbin got to drive his first real John Deere tractor! I think he was smitten at first sight.

We grew our giant pumpkins again this year--it was a much better growing season than last year. The largest one weighed approx 235 pounds! Getting all 5 of them from our garden in the backyard to our front yard was an adventure... AKA sumo wrestling giant pumpkins...:)

About Me

To make a long fairy-tale story short: We met while teenagers, both ended up attending college at BYU, we dated "seriously" (or not...) and were married in 2000. We now have the three cutest little boys in the world, well, 4 counting the dog.
