We hide the (empty... for the most part) Easter baskets in the house. Once the boys find them they can head outside and find their booty. Poor Dax was drug all over the yard and house as we were trying to keep up with the other two who were frantically trying to gather their goodies.
We lucked out with the weather this Easter here in Michigan. We never really know if we're going to be egg hunting in the snow or rain or what. This year the flowers were out and the sky was sunny... a perfect day! All in all the boys did a fairly good job of finding "equal amounts" of eggs and goodies between the two of them. Nearly everything turns into a contest and then a sob-fest because someone "didn't win" but this year Corbin and Kyler were great at sharing and allowing "equal opportunity" for one another.
Little boys in frog boots and John Deere will always steal my heart away! ... Love!
Corbin's "evil laugh" after he just snagged another egg intended for Kyler's hunting abilities.
2 pounds of pure chocolate + 1 little boy who devoured it all in less than 2 hours = the formula for sweet success. We hope you all had a safe and Happy Easter. It's such an incredible time of year! I like it more than the overly-commercialized-Christmas, when it comes to religious holidays. It's a time to remember the powerful promise of eternal life given to all through our Lord and Savior.
